Kuching Tyres & Batteries Sdn Bhd has successfullly secured the exclusive distributorship of the RoadX brand of tyres for East Malaysia.
RoadX Tyre Focuses on Safety, Comfort and Durability
Kuching Tyres & Batteries Sdn Bhd – just as its name indicates is based in Kuching, Sarawak – successfully secured the exclusive distributorship of the RoadX brand of tyres for East Malaysia in June 2020.
“2020 was a year that no one would forget. The World Health Organisation (WHO) declared the Covid-19 outbreak a global pandemic in March 2020 and our government implemented the Movement Control Order (MCO) to curb the spread of the virus. Although the new distributor partnership with RoadX tyre that was inked during the MCO was an opportunity for us, it was also very challenging,” said Director Lau Kok Chung.
Due to the MCO, he said all the communication and negotiation with dealers in the main cities of East Malaysia were carried out through phone calls. He is pleased that this was effectively done in a short period of time, which reflected the company’s good reputation and wide network. Today, the RoadX brand is present in relatively all the major cities across East Malaysia.

2020 年 6 月，古晋轮胎电池有限公司成功获得路极（RoadX）轮胎品牌在东马的独家经销权。正如其商号所示，该公司位于砂拉越古晋。
董事长刘国忠表示：“没有人会忘记2020 年。世界卫生组织 (WHO) 于 2020 年3月宣布冠病爆发成为全球大流行病，我国政府实施了行动管制令 (MCO) 以遏制病毒的传播。尽管在行管期间与路极轮胎达成经销商合作伙伴关系，对我们来说是一个商机，但却也非常具有挑战性。”
