Continental Tyres Shop Opens in Singapore
The grand opening of the Concept Shop at 2 Yishun Industrial Street 1, # 01-01 North Point Bizhub, Singapore was attended by about 200 guests. Adam Tan, Continental Tyres Market Manager – Singapore, Hong Kong, Brunei; Wee KokWah, President of Stamford Tyres International Pte Ltd, Executive Director Dawn Wee, Vice President Regional Wholesale Wong Siew Peng and Vice President Local Wholesale Lim GekChoon were present to witness this joyous occasion.
Aiming to provide a new experience in tyre retailing to customers, including information they need to make informed purchase decisions in tyre applications, this new Concept Shop showcases a wide variety of Continental tyres to suit different customer needs and requirements. It is well equipped with the latest machinery and customer-friendly professionals to handle all tyre and vehicle related services, along with comfortable waiting-room facilities.
Behind TS Auto Accessories & Trading is the father-son team; the founder and Managing Director Boon Tian Say and General Manager Boon Li Hao. Both thanked Stamford Tyres for helping them set up this Concept Shop and making all the necessary arrangements for the opening ceremony as well as the support from customers and friends in their respective speech.

In his congratulatory speech, Wee praised Boon Tian Say for his excellent performance as their dealer with in-depth tyre knowledge, good memory of tyre sizes and keeping sufficient stock to ensure availability. He also thanked him for his great support over the years. He hoped that Continental would continue to provide monetary support to open more Continental Tyres Concept Shops in Singapore.
“Continental Tyres started our footprint in Singapore 40 years ago, together in the collaboration with Stamford Tyres. Over the years, we have experienced a steady growth in sales volume and market share. This has proved to be a synergistic setup between us. Singapore is a leading financial hub in Asia. Its automotive market has already evolved into a matured and developed market. We see luxury vehicles all around. Not only that – as of 2015, half of all the new vehicles registered in Singapore were in fact European vehicles,” said Tan.
As Continental is one of the major suppliers of Original Equipment (OE) in Europe, he continued, they anticipated a great demand for OE tyres in the near future. Hence, they believed that TS Auto Accessories & Trading would benefit from this and continue to grow the business together with Continental Tyres and Stamford Tyres.
