Michelin’s ‘Go Nuts with Tyreplus!’ Refund Promotion

Car owners could look forward to reimbursements for Michelin tyre purchases at Tyreplus through a year-end promotion organised by Michelin Malaysia as part of its continuous effort to thank loyal consumers who frequent Tyreplus outlets for car maintenance services. 

Held weekly from 6th November to 31st December, 2017, the campaign aims to engage Tyreplus customers who seek to achieve the ultimate driving experience with Michelin tyres, which are renowned for providing performance, safety and comfort in all road conditions. 

The year-end promotion encourages Malaysian drivers to explore the top-quality products and services offered by well-trained professionals at Tyreplus – the auto services provider who delivers the ‘best’ service quality and continues to extend its reach to more car owners and fleets in the country.

 

The initiative not only rewards customers but also the Tyreplus outlets that sold a set of four Michelin tyres to the winning customers. Both the winning customers and Tyreplus outlet would be eligible for a total refund of the value of their purchases and sale respectively. 

According to Michelin Malaysia’s Managing Director Pascal Nouvellon, the campaign enabled the company to celebrate its customers who had always been supportive of Michelin and Tyreplus over the years. 

“Tyreplus has always focused on delivering trustworthy, convenient and comprehensive car care services and the year-end promotion represents our highest appreciation to customers for their love and trust of the Tyreplus brand by offering them the opportunity to be reimbursed on their purchase of Michelin tyres at Tyreplus,” said Nouvellon. 

“Tyreplus launched a rebranding exercise in May this year to serve more consumers and provide better products and service performance to improve road safety. The year-end promotion not only allows Michelin to interact with our existing customers at Tyreplus but also to reach out to a wider audience who share a mutual passion for enhanced and safe driving experiences,” Nouvellon added.

To take part in the promotion, customers need to purchase four Michelin tyres at any Tyreplus outlet between 6th November and 31st December, 2017. Customers are then required to send a picture of the receipt through WhatsApp and complete the slogan ‘I love Tyreplus because…’ in 20 words. Every week Michelin would go through all submissions to determine the weekly winner. During the campaign period, eight winning customers and eight Tyreplus outlets would be announced on Tyreplus’ Facebook page. The winning Tyreplus outlet would also organise prize presentation ceremonies that would be streamed on Facebook Live at the Tyreplus outlets where the winners purchased their tyres.

 

Tyreplus is Michelin’s global brand of its retailing concept that has an independent network of tyre retail stores across huge markets such as China, Thailand, Australia, India, the Middle East and South America. It is a one-stop-centre offering customers end-to-end auto servicing solutions under one roof. 

Since its introduction, Tyreplus has grown to be the largest independent car maintenance network in Malaysia, boasting more than 50 outlets and growing. The outlets provide ancillary services ranging from tyre replacement, tyre repairs, wheel balancing, wheel alignment and regular car maintenance with the support of leading international brands including Michelin, BFGoodrich, Bosch, Mobil 1, Total and Tech. Such services aim to deliver extra safety measures to vehicle owners. 

To accompany its fast expansion, Tyreplus recently unveiled its new visual and corporate identity in line with its plans to rebrand its network in Malaysia over the next four years. This includes five Tyreplus outlets in the East Coast region.
