Shell Malaysia was named the Putra Brand of the Year after winning the Gold award in the Automotive – Fuels & Lubricants category for the sixth consecutive year at the Putra Brand Awards 2017. The Putra Brand of the Year is awarded to the brand that best represents continuous product innovation, with a commitment to brand building, and exhibits corporate social responsibility.

This win inspires us to continue innovating our products and services to give customers more reasons to visit Shell,” said Ben Mahmud, Head of Retail Marketing at Shell Malaysia Trading Sdn Bhd, who received the award on behalf of the company at the award presentation ceremony.
This year, Shell introduced its new fuels with Dynaflex Technology, designed for engine efficiency, and launched an integrated loyalty programme called Shell Advantage and Rewards (SHARE) for motor oil customers and trade partners. Shell continues to upgrade its shops to provide a better retail experience on-the-go, offering Shell Helix motor oils with PurePlus Technology, quality pastries from deli2go, premium self-serve Costa Coffee, and other local and international food and beverage providers.
