The Tire Cologne continues on its successful course. A good year prior to the premiere of the event in Cologne, the international top player Hankook has confirmed its participation.
Also on board in 2018 is another heavyweight Cooper Tires.
“We are pleased that Hankook has also decided in favour of participation. A wonderful signal! This means that the top ten tyre manufacturers are represented in their entirety at The Tire Cologne. Cooper Tires, as the current number 11 on the world ranking list, underlines the exceptional interim balance,” Christoph Werner, Vice President of Koelnmesse, said.
“The Tire Cologne will be the leading international industry event right from the start.
Of the current ‘tyre world ranking list’, with Bridgestone, Michelin, Goodyear, Continental, Pirelli, Sumitomo/Falken, Hankook, Yokohama, Maxxis and Giti, not only the ten providers with the biggest sales, but with Cooper Tires, Zhongce Rubber, Toyo Tires, Kumho, Triangle, MRF, Apollo, Nokian and Nexen Tire as well as the international market participants following on the list will be represented from 29th May to 1st June, 2018 in Cologne.”
However, The Tire Cologne is not only developing well in the tyre and wheel segment. The automotive services and workshop needs as well as tyre remoulding and tyre recycling are also attracting an increasing number of exhibitors. An example was the Hunter company, a global market leader in the field of axle alignment, which had registered for the premiere along with the internationally renowned tool manufacturer Snap On. Both companies would be in hall 8 of Koelnmesse, where automotive services and workshop needs would be reflected over 11,000 square metres.
The Tire Cologne 2018 would take place in the Northern Halls of Koelnmesse. The tyre manufacturers, wholesalers and rim manufacturers are in halls 6, 7 and 8. Automotive services and workshop needs would be concentrated in hall 8. Hall 9 is home to the tyre remoulding segment and the recycling and disposal of old tyres. In addition to these presentations, visitors could look forward to extensive supporting and show programmes that would take place in the outdoor space on the north side of hall 8 and between halls 6 and 7.
