Champion drifters Masato Kawabata and Hideyuki Fujino took time off during the recent Toyo Drift Show at Stadium Batu Kawan to make an appearance at the Toyo Tyre Malaysia factory in Taiping.

The drivers met the company’s senior management and were taken on a brief tour of the factory before presenting awards to high performing employees. They were warmly received and to top it all, ten selected winners received the chance of a lifetime by being driven by Kawabata and Fujino around the factory vicinity in their Toyota GT86 drift cars. Both drivers entertained the crowd who cheered enthusiastically as they performed their drift repertoire, giving the Toyo Tyre employees a taste of what was in store at the Toyo Drift Show.
It was certainly a day to remember for everyone in meeting two world champions and Toyo Tires-sponsored drivers and seeing them in action up close and personal.
